Beep beep... People, i am a licensed driver! Not one who holds a PDL, but a person who owns a life-long driving license... Woohoo~
Went for my final revision on wed since the test is on thurs... N tt was my first time driving in the nite... I muz say it's quite a different feel... The instructor said i shld be ok n he tried to build my confidence by letting me do more parallel parking... Guess it's like letting me stand up from where i fell... Hee... N i wanna say tt instructor is one weird yet entertaining guy... Kept making me laugh... Den still say he's single... When the lesson ended, he left me his hp number n asked me to inform him abt my results... First time having an instructor who leaves a number de lo... =X
Took cab to BBDC on thurs afternoon... After warm-up, went for the routes balloting... Got route 3 n a tester named Wahid... N how nice, i dunno wad's route 3 as the map got blocked by the cupboard... T_T Time's up n the test began... I din feel nervous at all... Juz treated it as a normal driving lesson with a tester who doesn't talk... Did my circuit with much concentration n care... Den went out to the roads n luckily not much unpredictable things happen... When returning to the centre, the tester finally open his golden mouth n asked me y i failed previously... I told him it's the parallel parking n after tt silence falls again... LOL...
Followed the tester up to the office after the test to get my results... He looked at me with a strange look n i told him, "dun lidat look at me leh..." After calculating my pts, he wrote it down n when i saw it, i so feel like crying... 10pts, i passed! It's reli tears of happiness lo... Like releasing all the cooped up feelings in me... Think the tester saw the tears welling in my eyes n guess he was pretty amused by me as i kept saying thank u to him with such gratitude in my voice... LOL...
When i left the office, first thing i did was to msg kang, ying n wife... Next i called B as i wanna tell him the good news myself... B was so bad... Still say he tot i will bring him bad news... Humph... But he's happy for me too... So i pestered him for a treat n lend me his car... He ignored me for the latter... LOL...
Did all the necessary for the license application... N oso withdrawal of BBDC membership... Den tot of the weird instructor from last nite... So sent him a msg to say tt i've passed... Was abt to walk out of the centre when he replied, asking where i am... I turned back to the centre n coincidentally saw him, so called him over... He was oso happy for me n said how right he is when he told me i will pass... He oso said he shld treat as a form of celebration for me... I juz said ya ya ya... LOL... But anyway, it's weird talking to him outside as his frens kept walking past n will ask who am i n stuff lidat... =X Talked to him for abt 10min n left as he needed to go for his next lesson... So ciaoz to him...
I guess edwin's right when he say juz go take the test without any burdens of passing or failing... For the first time, i got a strong feeling tt i will pass but it turned out otherwise... This time, i juz treated it like a lesson n i passed... Think the psychological mindset is very impt... So those who will be taking test, ping chang xin most impt! N hooray for my license!!! =D
