Woah... I'm finally back from the OAC camp... It feels so great juz to be back at home... My comfy bed, my tv n my computer were all waiting for me... Yeah... Actually the camp is ok lahz... BUT if the food is abit betta, the bed abit more comfortable n many others, it will be perfect... Lolz...
Day One:
Went to sch in my PE attire in the morning... Feels so weird to be wearing the shorts to sch... Hehe... After assembly, there is this short little briefing by Miss Lee... Then comes a check for banned items like snacks, mp3 etc... Lucky i kept my candies safely... Or else, it will have the same fate as Mirna's potato chips... Lolz...
We set off for the Labrador Adventure Campsite n when we reached, the first batch of innovians r preparing to leave le... So good... Their torture have ended... While they were boarding the buses, they were cheering like nobody's biz... Ya lahz... I noe is our turn to suffer le but no need lidat de mahz... Humph...
The girls were given bunks to sleep in n my class girls r sharing a bunk with kaili's class... So lucky... I like their class girls cuz i noe some of them... Reli great ppl... We were given time to settle down n then, we were off to our designated areas for activities... Our class r doing high elements stuff first... So stuff like rock-climbing etc come into action... I have to commend Mirna's bravery during the high pole thing... The task is to climb a pole of abt 7 storeys high, stand on it, n then try to jump n catch hold of the trapeze a distance away... Mirna was so scared tt she cant stand up on the pole... Mr Chen aka the cute guy wanted to go save her, but cant as it is too dangerous for her to do so... In the end, Mirna came down by herself... Great job girl! U r so brave... If i were in ur shoes, i wun be able to do it... Hehe...
After those stunts, our class went for lunch... We had to do field cooking for our lunch while the Aquilla house ppl can enjoy cooked food... Nvm... It will be their turn tml... Hehe... Had uncooked instant noodles, sardine, curry chicken n baked beans for lunch... Not tt bad lahz... When one is hungry, everything is delicious... Hehe...
After tt, it is activities time for us again... These activities r low element de, meaning tt it is not dangerous stunts... So i participated actively in them... Actually is cuz all muz play... Dun have a choice... Lolz... Juz joking... Dun take my words seriously... Hehe... Like the game which Mr Yee aka boy boy was in charge of... It is like tarzan lidat... Have to hold on to a rope n swing urself to a small space... The crux is to see how many ppl can fit on the board... It is so alike to a stunt did by the artistes in the NKF show so Gerald was imitating a host n pleaded to ppl to call the donation hotline... So funny... Lolz... Boy boy was very cute too... Reli is cute till dunno how to describe... Hehe... When some of my gal mates cant swing to the board successfully, he laughed lor... So i said, "Boy boy, cannot be so bad lehz." Then he laugh laugh n said something... Cant rmb le... When my turn comes, he so happy lor... Still call me faster swing... My first try failed lahz... Cuz the ppl at the board din catch hold of me... So i fell to the ground lor... N boy boy was laughing... I stood up n 'scolded' him... Hehe...
After tt, all the classes assembled to get ready to walk from the campsite to Bukit Chandu... We r not going there to see birds or wad de... Is to go there find out answers to historical questions tt were given to us... Correct answers will win points for our houses... So we set off lo... The distance quite far lahz... Calvin was crapping along the way... N the crap is reli crap lo... Eg: When he saw a helicopter in the sky, he said it is his n later the helicopter will come down to where he is standing n pass him some food... Diaoz... Another eg: Said he bought a bird from Africa n put it at Bukit Chandu... Called the Africa Big Green Bird... Diaoz...
It is reli dark when we left Bukit Chandu... Rather scary too... Passed by a playground there n someone joked tt maybe we will see the swing swinging without any person on it... Scary sia... We went back n as it my class had to do dinner duty tt nite, we have to rush back to the bunks to get our stuff n take a quick bath... Dun rush oso cannot... Cuz sure have a very loooooon Q de... Reli like kiasu singaporeans man... Toilets oso have to fight for... The fish for dinner was ok lahz... But not enough for me lor... One veg n one fish with rice... I dun eat veg lor... So no choice have to stuff it down... Normally, i eat more sumptuous meal de lor... But wad to do... Now in camp... Sobz...
After dinner, have to go to sleep soon le... But cant sleep lor... Unfamiliar environment, uncomfortable bed n so hot somemore... Lucky i bought a radio there... At least got some entertainment... Lucky i din surrender my hp too... Can play some games on it n msg ppl... Hehe...
Day 2:
Practically din sleep lor... Think at most sleep 1 hour only... Got up at 5+ to wash up n assembled at 6... Did morning exercise lor... Star jumps + 3 sets of crunches, push-ups n half squats... Think too long din do le so do till wan die le... N due to my lack of sleep, my sensitive nose is coming back... Have to pop a pill to cure it but the med is forever tt slow in taking effect... Well, nvm... Din do any high element activities today too... Actually quite wan to try out one de... But changed my mind in the end... Not feeling well mahz... Somemore juz rained... The reins sure very slippery de... Actually abit dun trust the belayers oso lahz... Lolz...
After lunch, we went to rehearse our performance for campfire tt nite... Going to dance with the song "That thing u do" by The Wonders... Loved the song since pri sch... Think it's a great song... Hehe... Jason was so funny when he was dancing... Especially when he did the drowning action... Mad n i juz cant stop laughing... I was so surprised tt it was Jason who suggested putting the drowning action into the dance... Lolz...
Campfire was reli great... I shouted n cheered more than i did in sec sch days... My house, Taurus ROCKS!!! Hehe... The performance by the fellow Taurus classes were great, including the one did by my class... Hehe... Cute guy commended our performance too n it is only during our performance tt the innovians from both houses stood up n danced along with us... It is so HIGH!!! Hehe... My throat grew abit hoarse from all that cheering... Nvm... It's worth it...
After that, there is still an hour plus to lights out time... So our class gathered together n told ghost stories or rather, ghost facts... Jason insisted on using the word facts as he said they r all true... Hehe... I quite scared lahz... Cuz very soon, it will be the seventh month le... Somemore the place we r at got sooo much history lor... Not gonna elaborate here... Hehe...
Day Three:
Woo hoo~ Last day of the camp... Waited soooooo long for it to come... Hehe... Had a miserable breakfast... Imagine eating nasi lemak with only ikan bilis... Cuz the eggs no more le... Left the ikan... So poor thing sia... Kaili even more poor thing... Cuz she dun eat ikan... In the end, juz mixed chilli with rice... Hehe...
After breakfast, we packed up n prepared for the big sweep... Tt is to clean up the areas of the campsite... Lucky my class was allocated the hall n not the toilets... The toilets juz stink so much... Wouldn't noe how to clear the smell in the toilets... Lolz... But the hall oso not any good lahz... No matter how we sweep, it is still so dirty... Hmmm...
We took class photo after the big sweep n soon, it was announced tt Taurus is the champion house! We had finally won Saggittarus!!! YAY!!! All our hard work during the camp had paid off!!! Hehe... Cute guy was very happy lor... But poor thing lahz... He lost his voice... If not, he sure cheer de... Hehe...
Soon, we were all on our way back to school... When we reached sch, some of the Taurus ppl immediately went up to remove the Saggittarus flag from the 1st position n replaced it with the Taurus de... While they did tt, we gathered downstairs n cheered for Taurus... Reli like some kind of gang gathering lidat... Lolz... So happy tt we won! Taurus rocks!!!
